Hillary Kleck is the mother of Madilyn, whom was born blind with bilateral anophthalmia, among other congenital birth defects, in February 2005.

She now lives with her husband, Jacob, Madilyn and younger brother, Lucas (1 year old), outside of Boston. Madilyn attends Perkins School for the Blind while Hillary works from home and treasures her time spent with Lucas. Jacob works as a manufacturing engineer for New Balance, Inc. and is there when Madilyn gets home from school. He’s also by far the best cook in the house – everyone agrees.

They spend their weekends playing Miracle League baseball, playing at the beach, and chasing dreams. Life isn’t always easy, but it is definitely good.
